DJ Biography

Anthony Rey aka El Chico Mezcla  has many assets in the music world. He enjoys bringing people to their feet by spinning at the hottest NYC and NJ night clubs. He came to the United States at the age of 18 .It was here where his interest and focus towards music took a shift.He mentions the merging of the music back home and the new genres he was introduced to as the main keys that allowed his beats and mixes not only  to become unique but most importantly  catchy . In 2004 Anthony Rey began deejaying at a local cafe at a town in New Jersey.Then he moved on to hosting short slots in local radios stations. The charisma and energy he shares and brings to the crowd has allowed him to gain his following. Currently he  is  known as one of the best DJs of the New York and New Jersey club scene, local radios stations and internet radio shows. Furthermore Anthony Rey was recognized as DeeJay of the year in 2008 Newark NJ. Anthony has also worked for Mapi TV in Telemundo channel 47 in 2008-2009 ,he worked on mixing music for Latina 100.3 Rode Island and he  has a phenomenal dynamism when it comes to contributing in special events, such as boat rides which he had a privilege of hosting during The  Dominican parade in New Jersey. He has  collaborated with other recognized Deejays such as : Los Mix Masters, Lo Maximo Productions and Los Reyes Del Mambo. The success he has achieved over the years is the result of hard work, Anthony Rey  has persisted and continues to  focus on excelling new ways to produce, mix and host. DJ Anthony Rey is also working on projects to give back to the community. Projects such as sponsoring young deejays in his natal Santo Domingo are one of the priorities he focuses to work on this year.Giving back to his community is not only a dream come true but the result of  hard work. The tenacity he has shown throughout the years serves as a role model example for the young deejays he sponsors .No dream is to big to conquer and achieve as long as passion, dedication and discipline are part of your daily routines.
