DJ Biography

Acknowledged as one of the founding fathers of LoMaximo Productions – the awarded #1 Latin music website – DJ Blade2Much is known as a purveyor of Latin music, dropping masterpieces for both mixtape aficionados and music lovers alike.

Originally born in his native land, Dominican Republic, DJ Blade2Much acquired his love for music as early as 8 years old where he’d sneak off to the DJ booth at his uncle’s matinee bar club, every ten minutes, just to watch him play. By age 12, he migrated to a new home in NYC, where he immediately started cultivating his technique as a DJ at his local high school by poking around his friends’ turntables and tape decks.

Inspired by a fusion of artists ranging from Jesus Citronelle to Armand Van Helden, DJ Blade2Much partnered with DJ E-tunez in 2002 and finally took his reign as a DJ spinning at a culmination of family private events. That quickly garnered him a buzz towards DJing at weddings, corporate events and other similar venues. Within a year, DJ Blade TooMuch was already spinning for a crowd of over 1000 people at Bronx Jetset Café.

To date, DJ Blade2Much has shared the stage with several internationally acclaimed musicians such as Oscar DeLeon, Fernandito Villalona, Anthony Santos and others alongside legendary bands like Grupo Niche. His “Diluvio Reggaeton Mix” mixtape series and other music compilations have gained a lot of attention from various major outlets like Mixtapekings.com becoming a “must have” by the masses.

Not limited to a crowd, DJ Blade2Much’s personal style includes spinning Merengue, Salsa, Reggaeton, Bachata, Spanish Rock/Pop, Cumbia/Vallenato, House/Elektro, Reggae, Cumbia, Brazilian Funk/Samba, Hip Hop and R&B. He’s rocked New York City’s most prominent upscale Latin spots such as Latin Quarters, Club Exit, Gramercy Room, Arka lounge and others. He’s also spun outside his NYC hometown including Florida, Connecticut, Arizona and outside the states back to his born ground Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Today, DJ Blade2Much is one of New York City’s finest to bring the Smoothest, Best and Hottest Latin Mixes around the globe.
