DJ Biography

 I was born on March 11th 1988. PICES, Born and raised in the streets of newyork. I am 100% Dominican, I was a former student at Jane Addams H.S. I have been djing for over 6 years, Im 21 years old and have been djing at some of the most popular clubs in NYC. My choice in equipment would be a pair of technic turntables and my Macbook with Serato of course. I play all types of music except for jazz and country. I released 2 mixtapes so far one called the "The Rise" hosted by Nick Diddy a.k.a. talentino and the other called "we are latin music vol. 1" mixed with a few other dj's from lmp. The next mixtape will be released soon so be patient. I also was apart of a online radio show every saturday called takeovaradio people from all around n.y would tune in every week for shout outs, requests, and to stay updated with the latest music. Now im on lmpradio.com and people from all around the world tune in my show every week, every sunday from 8-10. The most visited latin music website in the world. I am also currently working for the guess store in the queenz mall as a dj on weekends. Juice the movie motivated me to being a dj and watching my friends it was so entertaining. I started off with a pair of numark turntables that i got for my 16th birthday and thats when djing just became a hobby for me and changed my life completely. Instead of going outside and playing with my friends, i would stay in and put my speakers by my window and dj so everyone can hear my work. Everytime i got money i went straight to the Recordshop to buy the latest records. I started doing house partys and babyshowers for a few years because it was hard to get in the club scene. I grew up listening to alot of artists but my personal favorites are Jayz, lil wayne, tupac, Dmx, sean paul, wisin y yandel, Micheal jackson and many more as of Djs: Dj spinbad, Dj danny s, Dj Funkmasterflex and many more influenced me as a young dj. I would study them and compare them to the way i dj'ed or did a mix. One of my closest friends Brother from another mother Dj j-star (la fiesta 96.9 & mashup broda's own) taught me alot even though we both started Djing almost at the same time. We would Always race to see who had the latest music and exclusives first. As time passed by, more people started to notice me when i started doin partys in halls and clubs, doing dj battles and dj showcases just to get noticed. My friends from my neiborhood had a crew called Sucio ent (promoters) they were doing partys in clubs weekly so they put me and dj j star to dj on weekly rotations to get some shine. Then i met dj magicxsounds and he heard my work and wanted me to join his crew lomaximoproductions, but that wasnt easy i had to qualify in order to be in the group. which i did so that was a good look for me. since its the most visited latin music website in the world i got noticed more, now i got into the club scene slowly but shortly and did my 1st mixtape, I handed them out in party's i djed, barbershops, parades,etc... the second mixtapes got handed out by all lmp members because they was all a part of it and we always have a lmp float for the dominican parade so we handed them out there as well. Things i've accomplished over the years? (dj'ed in almost every club in the bronx and Manhattan area. I've done cruises, bbq's, radioshows, dj battles, events with artist such as jowell y randy, arcangel, notch, de la ghetto, Seanpaul, blackpoint and many more). I also have traveled to other countries and states to deejay.
