DJ Biography

Belmi A. Peguero; known as DJ Negro born at the Dominican Republic, San Pedro de Macoris April 28 1982 and  Moved to NY in 1998 when his love for DJing began.  By 1999 started doing house or apartment parties playing with his father’s CDs without mixing at all, then gets interested on mixing by listening to all the To Mixeao  cds and also Radio Station shows like La Mega mezcla  with Alex Sensation.  BY 2000 DJ Negro was able to mix on beat to songs using an old Numark package which had tow  playing decks and a mixer included and also started playing around with  others little computer programs like virtual DJ and Mixmeister .

After spending most of the time practicing on mixing also went to college at queens NY La Guardia Community College (1999 - 2001) and obtained an Associate degree on Computer Science.  By reading on internet forums and practicing must of the time it could be said that he became proficient on Mixmeister Pro so good at it that could mix tow tunes just by looking at its wave and wearing no head phones at all. In 2001 he gives one of his friends at the gym a mixed CD without knowing that this person was another dj (dj Bebo). It was December 31 of 2001 when he was offered by DJ Bebo to cover for him at the Mirage Piano Bar while he was doing a party down on the same place big club, club Mirage which was located at dickman and vermillia Manhattan NY. After playing at mirage for several Years DJ Negro Started doing more clubs at NY such as Amber Room, Arka Lounge, Sky line Kafe, Mirage Sea Food, Clasicos, La Amistad, Las Reinas, Umbrella, Mangos Bar Café, the X bar, Play for LRM at jet zet Café, 5to Centenario, club Blue and others.

On 2006 DJ Negro moved to Orlando, FL and immediately recommended by DJ Alex started playing at private parties and clubs such as Salsa Latina and el Savor Dominicano after been recognized down at Orlando he has played at several clubs such as Club Mirage, Millennium Sport Bar, Safaris Café, Club Hush, Club 809, Club Passion, Venus Bar Café and club Mist.
DJ Negro, still recedes at Orlando, Fl and represent LMP all the way, he is playing at all LMP’s nights and participate on every event involving LMP. You could find and enjoys DJ Negro’s mixes on Saturdays at Club LUX, Wednesdays Roxy Night Club, Fridays the Ice Bar and Sundays Club 23 Downtown Orlando FL and by watching and listening his live show on LMPradio.com Saturdays from 6 to 9 pm.
